Temporary borrowed description — indet., regular leaf that could be sometimes confused with potato leaf on older branches, pink beefsteaks with excellent sweet flavor and nice meaty flesh. Reg. leaf large beefsteak. Russian commercial variety, introduced in North America and Western Europe by Andrey Baranovski of Minsk, Belarus under its translated name. Selection from Rozovyi Gigant by GISOK. Some Russian commercial seed vendors specifically indicate that it is a potato leaf variety, but some do not mention leaf type. I believe that the early seeds distributed by Andrey Baranovski was regular leaf, but later he introduced a correct Rozovyi Slon variety that is potato leaf. This selection, known in North America as 'Pink Elephant', has been known as a regular leaf tomato.
