Walter's Candy Stripe
Temporary borrowed description — Same as "Candy Stripe"???: 85 days, indet., regular leaf plant, high yield of bicolor, 0.75-1.25 lb fruit with very good flavor. // I agree with Neil's description above except I find the fruit to be generally bland (grown multiple times). Striping intensity varies, sometimes all yellow with little red showing. It was very susceptible to early blight, late blight, septoria and fusarium in NC. In Western Missouri plants became heavily diseased after fruit set (septoria and early blight). Fruits also tend to radial crack after heavy rainfall. Size and color does attract interest in markets. Fruit has best flavor in dry seasons.
