Hottest pepper in the world! At least according to Guinness World Records (2014), at 1.6-2+ million Scoville Heat Units. A true biohazard for anyone sensitive to capsaicin oil...Ouch,
it BURNS, intensely – but through it all, a good fruity flavor can be detected. Red pods are up to 2" long, crinkled, usually with a distinctive stinker. Start seeds extra early in late winter or early spring. Plants can grow to 6’ across in 9 months from seed, with 500+ pods per plant documented when grown under plastic. Does not thrive in cooler weather.
