Update January 21, 2025
Between the Utah Farm and Food Conference (10 days of prep + travel + attendance time) and just losing my part-time helper (HELP NEEDED NOW - see and share this posted Job Announcement), I am running uncomfortably far behind with filling seed requests, but I'm doing my best to catch up. At the moment (January 21st), I am working on requests submitted on January 5th, 6th, and 7th. I am hoping to be less than one week behind by the end of this week!
The major task over the coming weeks and months is extracting seeds from nearly 2,000 batches of tomatoes, representing around 650 varieties. This task will hopefully be completed before April, 2025.
Availability status, at least for tomato seeds, will be updated periodically at the "Tomato Seeds" Tab from the pull-down menu above.

** Seeds of over 3,000 varieties of tomato are available - click on the Tomato Seeds tab above.
** Only about 1,500 of these 3,000 varieties have their customized, individualized page at this point. But any of the 3,000 varieties can be requested using the Universal/Generic link to the left. This is a work in progress, as I struggle to find the time to create an individual page for every variety in stock.
SHORT ON TIME? Already know what you're looking for? The Universal/Generic link to the left is your quickest, most trouble-free way to checkout, especially if you already have your "seeds wanted" list ready to go. There is no need to email me with a request for a customized invoice; that will very likely result in a delay of a day or two, as I don't check my email very often this time of year (growing season).
Having issues with the Checkout screen not scrolling? Try opening your checkout cart in a new tab or new window. It's a glitch I cannot fix, but this workaround seems to solve the problem for many. Also, try zooming out until the checkout field appears.
If the search fields (with magnifying glass) don't produce a variety you are looking for, please go to the SEEDS page and try a page search by clicking the "Ctrl" key and "F" key simultaneously.
If you are looking for a commercial hybrid variety, particularly a commercial F1 variety, you are in the wrong place. Please read the DT Disclosure Statement published at:
DT Shared Files
In this Statement, issues such as genetic purity, germination rates, excessive ambitions, etc. are also discussed.
**NOTE ABOUT SPEED: I try my best to fill seed requests within 5 days, regardless of what else is going on around here. If you don't receive your seeds within 30 days of placing your order (40 days for outside the USA), feel free to contact me at [email protected] so that I can track down the problem or send replacement seeds.
I don't offer package tracking service except for larger orders (50+ seed packets). Your patience and continuing support are much appreciated!
I have clear documentation of the USPS recently taking 20 to 28 (!!!) days to deliver seeds of dozens of mailing envelopes via First Class mail - and this is domestic mail items! I have complained several times; but, their explanation/excuse is, predictably, "well, all you have to do is purchase tracking service for all of your mail". For small mailing envelopes (up to 5 seed envelopes), this would essentially cost EIGHT TIMES as much money for shipping!! Needless to say, I am very reluctant to raise shipping charges from a flat $3 to $8 to $10.
While I mull over such a drastic price hike, please note that once I relinquish a mailing envelope to the USPS, I am no longer in control of how long it will take to arrive to you. And yet another price hike by the USPS is coming in July, 2024 - this time the largest price hike on record. Who to blame? Let's start at the top, with the man who is likely making MILLIONS from people who use the USPS:

**NOTE ABOUT PRICES: Seed pricing is set for those who are seriously struggling financially, particularly for those who live in developing countries. Please read what is published at the Donate page from the menu above for additional insights and considerations.

Please refer to the latest Blog Post for recent (roughly monthly) updates.
If you're having trouble with the Universal/Generic link at the top left, just send me your "wanted list" via email and I will send an invoice. Navigation and even ordering can be a bit frustrating on some devices. Please drop me an email: [email protected] if you run into difficulties. But be advised - it's usually late at night before I even check emails and at times, due to fatigue, occasionally skip a day or two. Insanely busy... Thanks for your patience :-)
Also - I often include a "Business Card" or two - a sample packet of seeds. Of course you're more than welcome to plant these yourself; but I'm hoping you will pass along extras to other gardeners in your area. That's about the limit of my marketing budget: referrals.
Thank you very much for supporting the preservation and propagation of heirloom seeds from around the world! This is a one-person operation at all levels, and I seem to be unable to keep up on all tasks at all times...
Replace, Refund, Return policy
I will promptly replace seeds that did not germinate or did not produce true-to-type with seeds from another batch of the same or similar variety as you prefer. Or I will refund full or partial purchase price of any order at your discretion, for any reason, no questions asked. I strive for perfection but have not yet arrived...
Please don't return unwanted seeds; donate them to your local school garden program!! 🌱🌻🤓
** PLEASE NOTE - Website provider has a glitch that I cannot and they will not fix: on some electronic devices, the "Checkout Now" button disappears when you select more than 6 (on small screens) to 10 (larger screens) varieties. This glitch seems to depend upon your browser, device, or operating system. If this happens, try zooming out until the "Checkout" button appears at the bottom, then click on that and zoom back in as needed. Or try opening your checkout screen in a new tab or window. Or if this still doesn't work, please click on the link at the top left here, "Universal/Generic for any and all seeds available" for ordering. Or place multiple orders and I will promptly refund extra shipping charges. Or send me a list via email and we'll do this the old-fashioned way: with an electronic invoice. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
NOTE: If you are purchasing seeds to be sent outside of the United States of America, I use the most discreet packaging possible (seeds under small rectangles of paper, secured with clear cellophane tape) in order to: 1) decrease the probability that seeds will be confiscated; and 2) reduce the shipping weight as much as possible. Keeping the total weight of a shipping envelope under 1 ounce means your seeds can be shipped as a regular, First Class International envelope without requiring Customs Declaration Forms, Phytosanitary Certificates, Export Licenses, etc. I do not offer package tracking services, priority mail, or other services for international shipments.
I am doing my part to keep prices as low as possible, while also doing what I can to make sure your seeds arrive safely and in a timely manner. I can ship up to 16 packets of seeds in one envelope with this method. If you request more than 16 packets, I will ship the additional ones in other envelopes as needed. This is a tedious and time-consuming process, so an extra day or two might be needed for larger international orders.
When your seeds arrive, I strongly recommend using a pair of scissors to carefully cut out each rectangle, one at a time. Then place the rectangle in a bowl and use the scissors to pierce the cell that contains the seeds and empty them into the bowl. The variety name will be printed or hand-written on the paper to which the seeds are taped. Then transfer the seeds and label to whatever envelopes you might have convenient. Holding the sheet up near a strong light might be helpful as you cut around each cell containing seeds.
Here is a link to a printable template that is convenient to use for seeds:
Growfully Seed Packet Template -- The actual template is about 70% of the way down the page and can be printed directly after clicking on it.
In many cases, descriptions and photos can be found at this (Delectation of Tomatoes) website. If you would like me to send you an electronic version of the labels that I print for domestic seed orders, please email me at [email protected] and I will send them as a pdf file.
