By Size
BIG Tomatoes: Documented to grow to 2 lbs. or more, many have achieved GIANT status (3+ lbs.) or even SUPER GIANT (5+ lbs.). See documentation etc. at: BIG Tomato List
Large: Commonly grows to at least 1 lb., potentially to 2 lbs. or more but I'm not aware of documentation, so let me know!
Medium: Typically in the 6-15 oz. range
Small: Mostly 2-5 oz. range
Tiny: Mostly under 2 oz. ("Currant", "Cherry" and "Grape" type)
Paste/Plum: Not based on size or even function, but more on shape: prolate spheroid but not cardioid or heart shaped
