Largest tomato of 2018 (just over 2 lbs.) beating out championship lines of Big Zac, Domingo, etc. – this without any special care! Red fruits are often ribbed with some hollowness of seed locules. Very good flavor: distinctive, bright, rich – almost like tomato sauce, with good aftertaste. Regular leaf*, indeterminate vine with very impressive yield. Cluster of tomatoes shown in picture weighed over 12 lbs. An old heirloom, named for the village in Croatia where it has been grown for generations.
