Also known under the trade name Kumato®. Small, spherical, brown fruits with firm flesh. Unexpectedly sweet tomato for a variety that is picked unripe and ripened off the vine. Regular leaf, indeterminate vines with good production from 80 days. Original seeds from Trader Joe’s gifted by a fellow gardener. Traces back to Luis Ortega of Almeria, Spain who developed this variety in the 1970’s.
