Temporary borrowed description — RL, pink, slightly ribbed, beefsteak, large slicer 12-18 oz., late // seed originated with a pair of fruits sold to me by a person whose name I did not record. He identified himself as a doctor someone-or-other and told me the fruit was called Red Wolf. I bought two fruits and saved seed from it, and have since grown it a couple or three generations. I did some research and didn't at that time find anything called Red Wolf. I did find something called Red Wolford, and wondered if it might be the same variety, but with Red Wolf as a corrupted form of the name. However, mine didn't seem to match the descriptions I found for Red Wolford.
