Girl Girl's Weird Thing
Beautiful, well formed fruits with few blemishes. Dark colored (dark pastel red) with scattered, intermittent, olive stripes. Medium to large (0.974 lb. largest) fruits. Flesh is reddish-brown, typical of a "black" tomato. Firm texture; mild, moderately sweet flavor, less intense than other blacks. Early fruits are occasionally more odd shaped and lighter colored. Firm flesh makes this an excellent keeper. Regular leaf, indeterminate vines produce well from 90 days. Developed and distributed by Jessica Hughes, who named it after her pet dog who had a fondness for eating these fruits. Jessica's original designation was "Mutant Green Zebra", so this may be a cross or mutation of that variety.
