Yellowish, golf-ball sized fruits have a fine, peach-like fuzz with a pleasant, mildly sweet flavor. Has won several taste tests. Very good production on indeterminate, regular leaf, vines from 58 days (89 from seed). Source traces to Elbert Carman in 1890, named for Wapsipinicon River, Iowa. — DT original description.
