Medium-sized (up to 14 oz. listed), red, variable shapes and sizes, mostly oblate and slightly ribbed. Very good, rich, well balanced flavor. Indeterminate, regular leaf, vines with good production from 95 days. Seed source was Nathalie Antaya from Quebec, Canada. No earlier history yet found. Perhaps the name should be: "D' Ami Géant" so that English and French are not mixed in the name? This could be rendered as "Giant from a Friend" in English.
