Temporary borrowed description — Not listed at Tatiana's //Dalmatiner is a croatian variety which i planted for my mother this year. the regular leaf plants are not weak and they are less bitten by blight than some others, but they are not the most vigorous plants, perhaps due to the steady production of large beefsteak fruits. the fruit flavor is mild and sweet, with a texture like a ripe melon. it is perfect for any stew, sauce, or cooked dish, and i bet that those who do not enjoy tart and sour tomatoes would find Dalmatiner favorable. the skin is thin and the seeds sparse. // Old traditional Dalmatians people have been growing. // Dalmatian Croatia is a name for a region of what used to be a medieval Croatian principality which was established in the former Roman province of Dalmatia.
