Temporary borrowed description — 60 days, regular leaf, compact indeterminate plant, black/red beefsteaks with green shoulders, 4-14 oz, lots of seeds, juicy, green gel around seeds, some concentric cracking/scars, very good taste, fruit keeps longer than other black varieties after picking; a cross or mutation of Heart's Delite, which is a red tomato with the same fruit shape and plant growth characteristics. 2007 Notes: I grew out the remaining original seeds, and all plants produced black tomatoes that conform to the description above. Seed source: Darrel Jones, Alabama 05 History: Bill Minkey of Darien, Wisconsin obtained seeds in 2004 from Ed Swarlo of South Beloit, Illinois, whose aunt travelled to Poland in 2003 and brought back the seed. First offered in the Seed Savers 2006 Yearbook by Bill Minkey of Darien, Wisconsin (WI MI B). Introduced commercially by Tatiana's TOMATObase Seeds in 2014.
